Don’t have time/staff/funds for a residential visit?
Day visits can bring loads fun and learning. Be it a one off or a longer programme we can usually cater for day groups alongside our residential programmes but note that available times in peak season are more limited.
It could be a whistle stop round of upto 4 activities in the day moving from station to station in breakneck speed to complete a round of challenges to be the best team. Often we are used for exciting and memorable transition activities for year 6 or it could be the best PE lesson each week EVER!
It could be a regular club or after school visit each week to learn to climb.
It could be just a football club day out to do something completly different like abseil off a 65ft wall.
For schools and large groups we have 3 ways of running day visits:
Fully FCC staffed – choose up to 2 adventurous activities during the day which are able to deliver exciting and adventurous activities to groups of 1:12 in our activities. Led by FCC staff – high impact activities such as high ropes climbing, mountain biking etc.
Facilitiated days – A member of the FCC team @ 1:36 will help you deliver a memorable and exciting day of activities. Your staff will deliver the face to face sessions of simple low risk activity supported by us. A cost effective way of delivering your ‘learning outside the classroom objectives’. Best for problem solving, bushcraft, orienteering, pioneering and environmental activities.
Your Own Program – Come use the centre with your own staff, activities and ideas – for a nominal charge for access to facilities
