Coopers Mill Cottage is a remote 11 bed bunkhouse deep in the heart of the forest. Powered by woodsmoke and complete with a babbling brook it has no phone, tv, internet or mobile reception – just peace, tranquility and birdsong with countless walks and mountain bike trails on the doorstep. For larger groups it is perfect for additional camping in the grounds with a kitchen, showers and toilets to cater for up to 35. Perfect for a small group get away, youth groups and adults alike.
Callow Cottage is in the heart of the centre and sleeps a cosy 10 in bunk-beds. Like Coopers Mill, its the proximity to the camping area that makes it ideal for a mixed stay or slightly larger groups. It provides an ideal place to have a short break or holiday for relaxing, to take in and explore the magnificent surroundings or as a base to visit the attractions and activities in the local area.
What about Glamping? We have ten pods each sleeping four with solar panel lighting and two pods, each with two single beds – with electricity based around an outdoor living/dining area with shower/toilet and wash-up facilities. Great for family weekends and gatherings!
For much larger groups: the main centre building is also available for large group rental in holidays and weekends. This sleeps 60 in four dormitories with an additional 4 single rooms, a double and a twin room offering en-suite facilities. The centre has dining room, common room, lecture room, classroom facilities and a lounge area.
